We aim to make a CHANGE
At CHANGE Lingerie we take great pride in helping others. As a part of our sustainability, we prioritize resources to help others in need, when and where we can. CHANGE Lingerie especially strives to support women in need which is an integral part of the DNA in our company.
Reden International is an organization created to help vulnerable women who are struggling under circumstances like prostitution, abuse, and trafficking, among others. Reden International provides housing and food on top of supporting women to get back on their feet. At CHANGE Lingerie we have proudly made donations to Reden International for 15 years by donating merchandise as well as profits from our outlet sales. At Reden International they are just as satisfied with the collaboration as we are.
“Donations from CHANGE are of great importance to women in their daily lives because they do not have the luxury of buying underwear. We have seen several times that women are happy, when they find a bra in exactly their size”, they say.
Similar to Reden International is Arbejde Adlers Aflastning. The donations that CHANGE Lingerie have provided for the project, help women who enter the housing without any belongings.
At CHANGE Lingerie we are constantly looking for new ways to help others as well as improving the work that we are already doing.
A greener planet Packaging
In terms of packaging our products for the stores, we have removed the plastic bags from our bras and panties, which means they are no longer individually wrapped when they are sent to the stores from our production in China. On average, we reduce the use of plastic bags by 2.3 million pieces per year. As an added bonus, the new packaging method also means that unpacking and sorting is made easier in stores.
Wrapping
For a long period, we wrapped our products for our customers in wrapping tissue and plastic bags. The plastic bags have now been replaced with paper bags, and it is our aim to eliminate the use of paper bags as well. The alternative to the paper bags will be a fabric bag that can be reused.
Leftover stock
Finally, we are very proud that CHANGE has never destroyed products.
Instead, we have always been able to sell them at our Outlets or donate them to one of the many charities we work with.
